How to Install Fonts on OS X
By Hubathy
Is it hard to do?
Nope! One of the reasons Apple computer's have become so popular is due to their ease-of-use and their unique time-saving tools.
Step 1: Open "Finder"
Locate your "Dock".
Most of the time, it is found by moving your cursor to the bottom of your screen; but it can also be hidden on the left, or right side of your screen.
Once there, look for the application called "Finder" and open it. (View IMG. 1).
Step 2: Navigate to your HD
Time to access your hard-drive!
Once you have opened the "Finder" application, you will see a list of items on the left-hand side of the window.
Under the sub-category: "Devices", you will see your hard-drive; It may not be called "Hard Drive", so look at (IMG. 2) to see what the hard-drive icon looks like.
Step 3: Navigate to "Fonts" Folder
Once you have navigated to your hard-drive, go inside the "Library" folder; and finally, inside the "Fonts" folder.
Hard Drive -> Library -> Fonts
(View IMG. 3 & IMG. 4 for reference).
What's Next?
Once inside the "Fonts" folder, it is time to import some fonts!
You will already see some fonts inside that folder, those are the system default fonts. To install new ones, you will need to download a font online - make sure it is unzipped! - and then drag it inside the "Fonts" folder.
That is it! You're done :)
Note: You may have to restart the program you are using for the fonts to take place.
